St. Paul Music Ministry

If you've been considering involvement with St. Paul's music program, we hope that that now is the time! If you have been involved in the past, we hope that you plan to return! It's not necessary to be a St. Paul member to join these groups, so bring a friend! Details for individual groups are below; please remember that it's a huge help if you'll RSVP with your name AND which group(s) you plan to join! Child care is available during choir rehearsals, but ONLY if you request it ahead of time. Still have questions after reading all the info? Ask away! Worship Choir meets on Thursday evenings from 6:45 to 7:15 pm in the Worship Center. A short devotion time for all choirs is held from 7:15 to 7:30 pm. Worship Choir will rehearse on a short-term basis: you commit to two rehearsals for each Sunday/Saturday the choir sings. Rehearsals begin on September 12. No auditions required—all you need is a willing heart! Free child care is available if you request in advance: call Cherié Warner to make arrangements.

Concert Choir meets on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9 pm in the Worship Center. This group will begin preparation for the Christmas Concerts which will be held on December 13-15. The first two rehearsals will be September 19 & 26—if you can’t attend one of these rehearsals we’ll ask you to wait to join until rehearsals begin after the new year. Again, no audition is required, but we do ask that you call ahead (734.676.2942) so we can have music ready for you! Free child care is available if you request in advance: call Cherié Warner to make arrangements.

The handbell choir can always use new members, as well! This group rehearses on Monday evenings, and you can get further information from the director, Karen Weinschenker, at 734.671.8986.

Contemporary vocal group which participates in worship services, concerts, and special events within the community.

• King’s Kids - a group of IMPACT! students in grades 1-5 who have chosen the Music elective.
• SonShine Singers - preschool and kindergarten age Sunday School children. They sing four times per year in our worship services.
• Preschool Singers - children from our Christian Preschool sing during our worship services five times each year.
