Special Message from Pastor Bush

Friends,

You may have heard that last weekend I announced that I had accepted the call to Concordia University in Ann Arbor as Director of Donor Relations.

I head to CUAA with joy and excitement in my heart, yet my heart is also heavy with sadness as I prepare to leave a place that I have served for almost 15 years.

You, the people of St. Paul have blessed Laurel and me in more ways than we can count or remember. It has been my honor and pleasure to have served the finest congregation in the Michigan District, to have worked with such a dynamic staff, to have worked with strong leaders and to have worked with so many of you.

Our plans call for us to remain as members (I will be preaching at other congregations on behalf of the university 25-50% of Sundays). Laurel will continue to be part of Prime Time, teach a women’s Bible class, be part of the women’s Bible education team, and lead Sisters in Heart.

My last weekend here as Senior Pastor will be March 29-30. I look forward to seeing you.
