Membership
Becoming a member of a church is a big step in the right direction. Membership at St. Paul means supporting and sharing in the congregation's ministries with prayers, time, talents, and treasures.
To become a member of St. Paul, a prospective member attends our three member events—Pastor’s Fellowship Luncheon, Faith Basics and Connections.
Pastor’s Fellowship Luncheon: All guests and visitors are invited to attend and meet Pastors Bush, Blythe, and Koschmann as well as other staff. Attending a Pastor’s Luncheon is one of the steps required in becoming a member at St. Paul Church, but the event is a ton of fun as well as a great way for newer people to enjoy lunch with the staff after worship. The luncheons are held in the Upper Atrium of the Education Building following Praise Worship.
Faith Basics: This eight-week class teaches the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. The class often meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am. We also have one day and two day courses as well as weeknight courses on occasion. This no-obligation class is your big step towards becoming a member and a great way to learn about what we believe at St. Paul. Current members of St. Paul are also welcome, especially for those wanting to brush up on your understanding of the Christian Faith.
Connections: With the guidance of our expertly trained staff, this five-week class is designed to help you find your place in the world and at church. The content of this class is as important to life as it is to your life at church. We encourage any and all to attend, especially if you are going through a life transition.
